MAAC is a collaborative effort focused on helping youth who have experienced foster care in the state of Georgia overcome their unique challenges and find success. We refuse to let these young people fall through the cracks. Donating to MAAC impacts over 1,500 youth and families across the state each month through ten different programs — often at critical times in their journey to stability. Your gift is 100% tax deductible, and you can be assured of your investment knowing MAAC’s work and staff have been recognized throughout the state and nationally.
Like many other child welfare agencies, we are funded by federal/state grants and private donations. We are fiscally sound and have been since our inception in 1996. Your support matters to the children we serve.

Donation Supports

$1,000 dollars supports a certification class for a young person on their path to a sustainable career or a match for our matched savings program.

$500 supports urgent needs for young people transitioning from foster care with things like utilities, transportation support, supplies for their first apartment.

$250 supports tutoring and educational needs and supplies to help get young people to the graduation finish line.

$100- covers a monthly MARTA pass or groceries and other essentials

$50- supports extra-curricular supplies promoting normalcy and trauma recovery, uniforms for jobs or sports and diapers
