Sharonda Porter

Network Supervisor, MA

Sharonda has been employed with The Multi-Agency Alliance for Children as a Network Supervisor since September 2010.  She is also a trainer for Center of Excellence for Georgia Wrap Around.  She is a certified IMPACT trainer and working toward Wrap Around certification through Maryland’s Innovations and VROON’s model.  Sharonda obtained a B.S. Degree in Health Science from Columbus State University and a M.A. Degree in Professional Counseling with certification in Marriage and Family Therapy from Argosy University. She has worked over 15 years with youth and families. Her career began as a case manager with DHR/DFACS for 6 years. Sharonda has over 10 years experience as a Supervisor in a residential program for adolescent girls with sexual trauma and/or sexual aggression with Twin Cedars Youth Services/Anne Elizabeth Shepherd Home. 

Sharonda is active in the social, community and professional organizations to include but not limited to:  Chi Sigma Iota Honors Society; Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.; Substance Abuse Recovery Program (4th Street Baptist Church). Her greatest gift is being blessed to parent her son, Devan.

Did You Know?
Sharonda enjoys taking long walks.  She and her mother have done long walks on various vacations and this has become a ritual for wherever they visit.  They have especially enjoyed walking where there are rivers and beaches.  Some places she has traveled and walked are New Orleans, Panama City, Destin and Detroit.  On their bucket list is to walk together in New York.
