We help kids by listening to what they need, from their point of view, while also listening to the adults in their life. We care about each of them. Our passion for the children in our care colors absolutely everything we do.

Ikeda Williams

Youth & Family Coordinator

Ikeda Williams joined the MAAC team in August 2010 as a Care Coordinator for the High Fidelity Wrap-Around program. A native of South Florida, Ikeda attended Kennesaw State University to earn her Bachelor's degree in Human Services. Ikeda has experience working with Devereux Georgia Treatment Network, a partner of MAAC, as a Direct Care Professional II, assisting with residential youth, overcoming mental health and transitional barriers. She also has extensive knowledge and experience working with adolescents who has been diagnosed with autism and other developmental disabilities. Her background with crisis intervention skills has aided her while working with youth who have been placed in residential placements. Ikeda’s experience with The Cherokee Child Advocacy Council has also provided her with the background needed to help fulfill MAAC’s mission.

Ikeda is passionate about her work and seeing that youth and families thrive in a healthy environment. She is eager and excited to be a part of an innovative agency seeking to provide the best alternatives for Georgia’s youth, adding that “we love to help. The work atmosphere is very loving and supportive, and I smile knowing that we are making a difference in the lives of youth and families that have run out of resources and "creative ideas" in being successful in the community!”
