We help kids by listening to what they need, from their point of view, while also listening to the adults in their life. We care about each of them. Our passion for the children in our care colors absolutely everything we do.

Collaborative Partners

MAAC is a collaborative effort between nine agencies intently-focused on helping youth with special challenges -- the kind of difficulties that most other organizations are unable to take on due to how complex they are. For many of our kids, MAAC is a “last resort.” We absolutely refuse to let these children fall through the cracks ... finding creative solutions for them is our passion and our life’s work.

Our approach works*:

100% those surveyed report that “MAAC youth receive all the
services they need.”

82% tell us that “I would recommend MAAC for other kids.”

86% note that “MAAC treats children quickly and effectively.”

90% agree that “MAAC staff are helpful” and “advocate for youth.”

Like many other child welfare agencies, we are funded by federal / state grants and private donations. We are fiscally sound and have been since our inception in 1996. Because we are good stewards of the resources entrusted to us, we don’t “bite off more than we can chew” financially, but we are constantly reminded that there are so many kids who desperately need the unique approach we offer. Will you help us change their lives for the better? Please donate to MAAC today:

MAAC is accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA). This is an objective and reliable verification that provides confidence and support to an organization’s service recipients, board members, staff, community partners, and donors.

COA accreditation requires a detailed review of an organization’s administrative operations and service delivery practices, which are measured against national “best practice standards.” These standards emphasize accessibility, appropriateness, cultural responsiveness, a skilled staff, and an evidence-based and outcome-oriented approach.
