Teen Parent Connection
Teen Parent Connection (TPC) is a statewide system of care designed to incorporate a broad array of services and supports for teen parents, (both mothers and fathers) aged 14 – 19 in foster care. Life Coaches with specialized training to work with teen parents ensure the provision of customized services that help teen parents succeed as parents and adults.
Our organized network of partners includes: Multi-Agency Alliance for Children (MAAC), Georgia Department of Family and Children Services-Independent Living Program (DFCS-ILP);Georgia Campaign for Adolescent Pregnancy Prevention (G-CAPP); Ringer Center of Excellence-Youth on the MOVE; Rebekah Hudgins, Evaluator; Georgia EmpowerMEnt; Georgia Office of Family Representation (GOFR); House of Dawn; Creative Community Services; Twin Cedars Youth Services; CHRIS Kids; EMBRACE; Families First and more. The Governor's Office for Children and Families provides funding and technical expertise.
YOU can help a teen parent succeed as a parent and adult. For more information on making a referral for a teen parent to TPC, to join our system of care or request a presentation, click here.
