What We Do
MAAC respects the unique identity of each agency to do what they do best and we share resources with each other for the benefit of our kids. For example, one of our kids may live in a CHRIS Kids group home or an Outdoor Therapeutic Program but go to respite at CCS on a regular basis.
We help parents and guardians because we believe they are a critical part of the healing process and we ask them for input and help along the way.
We believe strongly that kids should be served in the lowest level of care possible and that every child can succeed-- it just takes some a little more help than others.
We help kids because we listen to what they need, from their point of view, as well as that of the adults in their life. We care about what happens. We have known some of our kids for 5 or more years and have watched them make hard-earned progress.
